MLA Bishnah to fight discrimination with Jammu

JAMMU, Apr 27:  Jammu State Morcha (JSM) MLA from Bishnah Ashwani Sharma today declared that the JSM would fight for the cause of Jammu region including discrimination meted out to it from successive Governments and would also strive for setting up of Delimitation Commission in the State.
Addressing a workers meeting at Bishnah including Sarpanchs, Panchs and chairpersons of the area, Sharma highlighted development in Bishnah Assembly segment especially his efforts aimed at removing backwardness of the area by increasing road connectivity, launching water supply schemes and improvement in healthcare facilities.
He said a lot of works have been done in the constituency for development of the area but still a lot remained to be done.
“We are committed to development of the constituency. Some of the remaining works would be taken up before elections,” Sharma said.
The MLA Bishnah said `Umeed’ scheme has been launched recently in Bishnah for welfare of the women.
He said the Government should announce special package for unemployed youth of border and other rural areas in police and other departments. Declaring that `Sangarsh Rally’ would be held at Arnia on May 25, he said the development was his main plank and he would make all efforts to ensure that all possible development works are carried out in the segment.
Several prominent persons apart from Sarpanchs, Panchs and chairpersons spoke in the meeting and lauded development of Bishnah constituency done by Ashwani Sharma.
