KATHUA, Feb 27: MJM Memorial Youth Club Barmota, Bani under the guidance of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs Nehru Yuva Kendra organize Neighborhood youth Parliament at village Barmota to creates mass awareness of various development programmes launched by Government of India in favour of youth to shape up their future.
On the occasion MLA Bani Jeevan Lal was chief guest. He has also laid the foundation stone of Recreational Park boundary wall at Barmota. The park is developed by MJM Memorial Youth Club Barmota in association with contributions of local youth. While addressing, MLA Bani appreciated the role of youth towards nation development and for the welfare of society. He has asked the youth to get benefits of various development scheme launched our PM Narendra Modi.
Later, Jeevan Lal, conducted the Janata Darbar at Sitti in Tehsil Bani for redressal of problems being faced by the locals of the respective areas in which representatives of different departments, senior officers and district/block heads of Education Department, Rural Development, Power Development Department (PDD), Public Heath Engineering (PHE), PMGSY, Social Welfare, ICDS, Health and other departments were also present.
MLA Bani issued instructions to officers for on spot redressal of the problems projected by the people. He apprised the people that State Government was initiating several steps to mitigate the suffering of the people residing in far-flung and remote areas.
He also urged CAPD Department to give full 35 Kg scale of ration to each and every family and ensure that sign boards displaying number of souls, stock position, rate list and electronic weighing machine are installed in every fair price shop of the areas within a period of one week from today.
