BANI, Dec 26: Member Legislative Assembly Bani, Jewan Lal Lalhal convened public grievances camp at Janj Ghar, here today.
SDM Bani, Ajeet Singh, Tehsildar Bani, Shiv Kumar, BMO Bani, BDO Bani, AEE PWD, AE PHE, AEE Irrigation, AEE PMGSY, AEE PDD, Range Officer Bani, ZEO Bani, CDPO Bani, CDPO Duggan and Various departmental officials participated along with local BJP leaders.
People urged upon the MLA Bani to direct the PMGSY authorities to speed up the work on the road being constructed and also demanded construction of the B/wall of those people whose houses were damaged during the construction of road.
The people of Roulka demanded sanctioning of new health center at Roulka area and upgradation of health center of the area located at Bani constituency.
The issue of pending wages under MGNREGA was also highlighted during the meeting, along with the demand for a water supply scheme and construction of reservoir. The people also demanded up-gradation of Transformer and replacement of wooden poles, besides bus service from Bani to Chamba.
Repairing of Foot Bridge at Khurdwah was also demanded on the occasion.
The MLA gave on-the-spot directions to the concerned authorities for immediate redressal of complaints and grievances so as to mitigate the sufferings of people and said that any laxity on part of the departments will be viewed seriously.
He assured the people that every possible help will be provided to mitigate their problems.
The MLA said that many Hydroelectric Project will be start soon in Bani constituency.
Prominent among others present during meeting were Bishamber Firngta BJP District vice president, Mansa Ram, Sher Singh, Hem Raj Verma, Moti Ram, Thakur Dass Mandal President, Dhani Ram and Dayan Singh.
