MLA announces CDF for strengthening water supply

MENDHAR, May 18: Member Legislative Assembly Mendhar,  Javed Rana today rolled out a multi-dimensional project for overall development of Maghiad  area of Mendhar during a public meeting.
The people during meeting raised several issues of public concern with all locals raised serious concern on the water supply network of PHE in the area and claimed that most of the people have to fetch water from natural sources.
While addressing the people  MLA rolled out his development plan for this border area. Rana announced Rs 8 lakhs from his CDF for strengthening water supply network in the area with special focus on PHE scheme in Maghiad Panchayat.  He also announced  a Horticulture project in the area besides construction of water harvesting tanks  with an aim to preserve rain water and to make full use of it.
The MLA said that process of  further extension of tender of  Uchad to Ram Kund via Nagan Ban road has been given so as to strengthen the road connectivity in this area.
Rana also addressed the pending demand of repair of Government Primary School Nadooni and announced to provide funds for renovation and repair of school building. He announced 40  polls for upgrading power infrastructure in  the area.  He assured to open three ration stores on public demand.
Meanwhile, Rana has urged upon the  Govt to ensure that tension  both in valley and also on LoC is reduced.  He advocated sustained dialogue with all stakeholder to address all outstanding issues that have prolonged instability and frequent incidents of violence in the State. The MLA urged the Centre Government to start J&K specific CBMs to restore the confidence of people in dialogue.
