Missing youth’s body recovered from car

JAMMU, June 9: The dead body of an 18-year old youth, who went missing yesterday, was recovered this evening under mysterious circumstances from his own car in Bathindi area of city outskirts.
“The deceased youth has been identified as Mohd Asif Malik (18) son of Shamsdin, resident of Bagga, tehsil mahore, district Reasi. He was presently residing in Nowabad area of Bathindi”, a police official said.
He said according to the family members, Asif had left the house yesterday without telling them anything and when he did not return back even today morning, they told the matter to Bathindi police which launched a search operation.
“During the search, the body of Asif with some blood spots on his face was recovered from back seat of his own car, which was parked at some distance from his residence”, the police official said, adding, the body of the youth was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while a case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and investigations started.
