Srinagar, Feb 20: Body of a teenager who had gone missing from his native village in north Kashmir’s Pattan area of Baramulla district was found in a local stream today, police said.
A police official said that Shahid Ahmad Ganai, aged 16-17, had gone missing yesterday from his village in Mahmood Pora in Pattan. “Today, the body of the teenager was spotted in a local stream (nullah) and recovered by locals,” he said.
The police official said it was not immediately clear in what circumstances the deceased died but police have started investigation into the matter.
