POONCH, Jan 9: The Mandi Police claimed to have recovered a missing young woman hailing from Mandi area of Poonch district from Mumbai on Sunday.
A police spokesman said that SSP Poonch, J S Johar set up special team under DySP headquarters Mohan Lal after the family of Farida Begum (28), reported that she has been missing since December 20, 2016. The matter was reported on December 21 with Mandi Police .
The police team under the supervision of SHO Mandi, Insp Masoof Mirza recovered the woman from a locality in Mumbai. The family members also rendered help to police party in tracing the woman. She has been restored to the family and further investigation was in progress.
