JAMMU, Dec 6: A missing girl was today found hanging with a tree in a forest area of tehsil Dansal of Jammu district.
According to a police official, one girl namely Rubeena Bibi (18) daughter of Nazir Ahmed, resident of village Chhurta, Morha Pontha, tehsil Dansal, was today found hanging with a tree in the forest area near her village.
He said that the girl was missing since December 4 from her home and a missing report in this connection was also lodged in police station Jhajjar Kotli. “Inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC has been initiated in the case”, he said, adding body of the deceased was shifted to a nearby Government hospital for post mortem.
