NEW DELHI, Nov 30: Newly crowned Miss World Manushi Chhillar called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Thursday.
The beauty queen was accompanied by her family. Prior to Thursday’s meeting, she tweeted: ‘’Excited to meet the honourable Prime Minister of India Shri @narendramodi. It is indeed motivational for me to be in the presence of a man I have looked up to.’’
The Miss World crown has come to India after a gap of 17 years. As news of her victory came on November 18, the PM had tweeted at the achievement of the young medical student from Haryana.
‘’Congratulations @ManushiChhillar! India is proud of your accomplishment,” his tweet said. (UNI)
