JAMMU, Apr 16: Former MLA and senior leader of People’s Republican Party (PDP) Rafiq Ahmed Mir during a meeting of the Cell nominated a Committee for the Pahalgam Constituency with O N Saproo as its chairman.
A K Dhar was nominated as president, M K Raina as vice president, Chaman Lal Raina as secretary, B L Razdhan as general secretary, Vishal Pandita as cashier, M K Koul as organizer. Besides G L Moti, Sunil Dhar, J N Raina and A K Koul were nominated as members.
The meeting discussed various issues confronting the displaced community which included enhancement of cash relief, bifurcation of ration cards and issuance of RBA certificates in favour of migrant community.
Mr Mir assured the gathering that the issue will be taken up with the concerned authorities and they will be pursued for implementation of the decisions.
