JAMMU, Apr 29: JKPCC chief G. A. Mir met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi in Union Capital today.
PCC chief in separate meetings with Congress President and Vice President, discussed, threadbare, the socio political situation obtaining in the State. Many issues of public importance also came under discussion.
He discussed with both latest political developments in the State.
He also apprised them about the ongoing membership drive of the party, which is in final phase and organizational affairs etc.
PCC chief further discussed with them the restructuring and rejuvenation of Block Congress Committees and District Congress Committees through a democratic process after completion of the ongoing membership drive.
Later, Mr Mir also met Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad and General Secretary AICC Ambika Soni and discussed with them the overall socio political situation obtaining and several other issues concerning people in the State.
