MENDHAR, Aug 11: A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a driver of Tata Sumo, here today.
The victim, who is a student of class 12th and resident of Kalaban, Mendhar, was putting up in a rented accommodation at Mendhar.
The accused, identified as Habib-ul-Rehman (22) of Kanathi Badola, has been arrested and a case FIR number 143, under Section 376 of RPC, has been registered against him at Mendhar Police Station.
In her complaint to the Police, the victim said that the accused used to stalk her and today he abducted and took her to an isolated place where she was raped.
