JAMMU, May 13: Annual holy Chhari Yatra (Mindhal Yatra) will commence from Maa Chandi Temple, Blassu (Doda) on June 1.
This was revealed by Prof DS Manhas, president, Aadi Shakti Devi Chandike Sevak Sanstha (ASDCSS), Blassu, Doda, while addressing a press conference at Press Club, here today.
He said that the Chhari Mubarak led by Pyar Singh Ji will have night stay at Gouri Shankar Temple, Kishtwar on June 1 and Maha Kali Temple, Sohal (Padder) on June 2. “Thereafter, Yatra will reach at Maa Chandi’s revered place-Mindhal, Pangi (HP) on June 3 and on June 4, Mindhal Mela (Havan-Poojan, Bhaderwahi Kud and Jagran) will be held at Maa Chandi Darbar Mindhal”, he added.
Manhas informed that the Yatra will start its return journey on June 5 and after night stay at Gouri Shankar Temple, Kishtwar, it will reach back at village Blassu on June 6. He said that ASDCSS in coordination with Maa Chandi sevaks of Prem Nagar, Thathri, Kishtwar, Glahar, Kundal, Sohal, Tyari, Lujh, Killar, Mindhal and concerned administration of J&K and HP is making necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of the Yatra.
