JAMMU, Oct 8: Sudesh Ram Krishan Charitable Trust organised anti-drugs paintings and posters exhibition wherein art work by renowned JAKFAS artist Suresh Sharma, was displayed at Gulshan Ground Jammu during Tawi Marathon Run for drug-free India.
Legendary Milkha Singh, well known as Flying Sikh, inaugurated the exhibition and painted a poster to convey the message ‘Drugs an Invitation to Death’.
He also appreciated the work done by JAKFAS artist Suresh.
A handout stated that the artist Suresh is working on the subject of anti-drugs since last many years and is trying to create awareness about the ill effect of drug abuse among various section of the society.
He has arranged many exhibitions at public places, schools, colleges, hospitals, Kala Kendra etc.
Tarun Uppal, social activist, Rajat Kakkar, Kuldeep Raj Cartoonist, Kanav Gupta, Animator and a large number of people, schools and college students were also present on the occasion.
