Military training of girl cadets at Tiger Division

JAMMU, Aug 8: Twenty Senior Wing NCC Cadets (girls) of various colleges of Jammu are undergoing Military Attachment training at Tiger Division.
The two-week training which commenced on July 30 is being conducted under the Tiger Division. The cadets are affiliated to 2 J&K National Cadet Corps Battalion.
As part of the military attachment, NCC cadets are being exposed to the arms and equipment of combat arms, combat support arms and services. They are also being given an insight into the ethos and customs and the Army way of life to motivate them to join the Indian Armed Forces as a career.
The NCC Cadets are taking active part in the training with zeal, enthusiasm and vigour. They are accompanied by Neelam Kumari, a teacher from Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota.
