SRINAGAR: Militants tonight fired at a police vehicle in Nowgam area of Srinagar but no one was hurt in the attack that caused panic among the residents and passers by.
“Militants fired upon a bunker vehicle of police at Nowgam at 8.45 pm but there was no loss of life in the incident,” a police official said.
He said the firing caused panic among the residents of Nowgam and adjoining areas as passers by at the busy city intersection ran towards safety. (AGENCIES)
