Militant returns home

Excelsior Correspondent
SRINAGAR, Mar 5: A militant today returned home as he quit militancy following appeal by his parents.
Last Friday, a boy from South Kashmir had returned home from militancy following an appeal by his mother. Several militants, who had  taken to violence, returned home last year after appeal by their parents.
To bring misguided youth back into the national mainstream, police has been counseling them to prevent from falling prey to anti-national propaganda and joining militancy in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Police has appealed the parents to come forward and help their wards by way of giving them time and counseling them so that they may not be misguided by the anti-national elements who are hell bent to vitiate the peace in the Valley.
