MIET students placed with Rs 3.7 lakh package in TechAspect

JAMMU, Sept 11: Eight students of MIET including six from Computer Science and Engineering and two from Information Technology Engineering got placed in TechAspect Solutions Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad at an annual package of 3.70 lakhs per annum.
The drive was conducted at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra. The selected students were Rajet Veshin and Aditi Dutta (IT) and Arshina Singh, Nitin Bhandari, Anam Malik, Aditi Gupta, Nausheen Saraf and Priya Nargotra (CSE).
Brig PN Sharma, Training and Placement officer, attributed the stellar performance of the students to the implementation of the Skill Development Matrix for each student under which specific skills and training are provided to students in a phased programme.
“Personality development sessions are also a routine feature at MIET for all students. Another innovation which MIET has adopted was the introduction of the quality analytics software which provides deep insights into performance of each student including automatic generation of authenticated resumes of students”, he added.
Dr Arun Gupta, Chairman MIER, Dr Renu Gupta, Director MIER, Dr Ankur Gupta, Joint Director MIET and Prof SK Sharma, Principal MIET, while congratulating the selected students also complemented the placement team for their outstanding effort and assured greater support to in delivering outstanding value to the current and prospective students of at MIET.
