LOS ANGELES, Mar 18: Director James Gunn has confirmed that “Smallville” star Michael Rosenbaum will play a significant role in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2”.
During an appearance on The Adam Carolla Show podcast, Gunn teased the characters played by both Rosenbaum and Sylvester Stallone, reported Entertainment Weekly.
“We do have a couple of characters who are very important to the Marvel universe, who are going to make their debut in Guardians Vol 2, that people don’t know about.
“And Sylvester Stallone plays one of these characters… But I will say that my friend Michael Rosenbaum also has a pretty decent role in the movie as well and it sort of works in tandem with Sly’s character,” he said.
Rosenbaum subsequently tweeted, “I kept yapper shut for a year but can finally say what James Gunn announced on Adam Carolla. I’m in freaking Guardians.” (PTI)
