MHAC celebrates birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh

JAMMU, Sept 21: MHAC School, Nagbani near here celebrated 123rd birthday of its founder, Maharaja Hari Singh with fervor and gusto.
The celebrations started with paying of floral tributes to Maharaja by the chief guest Justice (Retd.) J.P Singh.
Manager LMC, T.K Ganjoo, Principal, Sween Puri; LMC members, Dr. Sukhnandan Chowdhary, MLA Marh, Advo-cate D.S Chauhan; Sarpanch Shamsher Singh and Zorawar Singh, General Secretary Press Club were also present on the occasion.
The function started with a Hawan performed by all present on the occasion.
About 250 students along with their teachers from Ram Chander Memorial School, Batehra, Samaj Kalyan Kendra School for the Hearing Impaired and Border less World Foundation NGO were also invited.
The students took part in Hawan and were served snacks and lunch.
The school donated a computer and stationery items to Deaf and Dumb School, Shahidi Chowk whereas a pressure cooker, 20 sheets and stationery items were also donated to Borderless Foundation School by the school.
The chief guest lauded the role played by the school in education field and suggested to include chanting of Om in the school curriculum.
The Principal delivered vote of thanks.
