JAMMU, Oct 2: Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy MGCA ‘A’ defeated MGCA ‘B’ by 7 wickets in the 3-match Friendship Series at the Academy ground, here today.
Batting first, MGCA ‘B’ scored 169 runs in 35 overs. Aarav Mahajan top scored with 38 runs, while Arjun Parth and Ajay contributed 38 and 30 runs to the total respectively. For MGCA ‘A’, Sagar, Harsh and Vasu claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply, MGCA ‘A’ chased the target in 31.4 overs by losing 3 wickets, thus won the match by 7 wickets. Snoop scored unbeaten 90 runs, while Surender contributed 26 runs to the total. Robin took 5 wickets, while Nityam and Aarav shared 1 wicket each. For his superb batting display, Snoop was declared as man of the match.
