UDHAMPUR, Feb 20: A mentally retarded girl child was allegedly raped by a 60 years old person, who was working as watchman in Sunetar village, here today.
According to Police, mother of the victim lodged a written complaint that the accused Mani Ram (60), resident of Marta, who is also Chowkidar of Sunetar village, entered into her house and committed rape on her insane daughter.
On the complaint, case FIR No. 34/2017 under section 452/376 was registered at Police Station Ramnagar. Acting swiftly police party under the supervision of SHO Ramnagar Inspector Urfan Pervez conducted raids and arrested the culprit within hours of incident.
