POONCH, Nov 23: Medhar drubbed Surankote by a big margin of 65 runs on day-4 of Poonch Inter Tehsil cricket league tournament (under-19) at Jhullas Ground, here.
The tournament is being organized by 39 RR.
Earlier, batting first, Mendhar scored 215 runs for the loss of 3 wickets, while Surankote in reply bundled out for 150 runs for 8 wickets.
For Mendhar, Rahil and Shoib scored 63 and 52 runs respectively.
For Surankote, Sofid scored 51 runs.
Azeem took 2 wickets for Surankote, while Majeeb took 3 wickets for Mendhar.
Maj Mukesh Kumar 2 IC 39 RR was the chief guest.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Naib Subedar Nirmal Singh, Pawan Kumar and Sumit Sharma.
The match was officiated by technical panel of Rajinder Singh Toofan, Sanjay Misri, Pawan Kumar, Vikas Sharma, Rajneesh Maini, DK Raina, Parvez Ahmed and Harmik Singh.
The tournament is being coordinated under technical supervision of Vijay Kumar (PEM) and Pawan Kumar (fitness trainer BCCI NCA JKCA).
