Members of Chotay Taray Foundation meet Governor

SRINAGAR, Mar 30: Arajmand Makhdoomi, President, Chotay Taray Foundation, along with a delegation, called on N.N. Vohra, Governor at Raj Bhavan today.
Mr Arajmand apprised the Governor about the present functional status of the Chotay Taray Foundation, after the enormous damage caused by the September 2014 floods. For the Foundation to be able to work he requested the Governor’s urgent help for overcoming the huge losses suffered by the institution. He also raised the very long pending case for a piece of State Government land being allotted to the Foundation to enable it to operate from its own building and not be compelled to shift from place to place. The Foundation owing its own premises shall help it in better serving the specially abled children.
The Governor assured the Foundation of necessary support for carrying forward its mission and work for the welfare of disabled/specially abled children.
Makhdoomi was accompanied by Syed Mehdi Hassan, Mehraj-din-Malik and Nazir Ahmad War.
