Mega projects taken up to address development deficit: Kohli

RAJOURI, Dec 23: Saying that present Coalition Government is committed to empower all sections of society, Minister for Animal Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Abdul Ghani Kohli today said many mega developmental projects have been taken up by the Government to give relief to people.
He was addressing a public gathering in Kalakote here.
“Socio-economic transformation of all the regions and sub-regions of the State through development at grassroots level is the priority of the State Government”, he said.
He said that Government is fully aware of the problems and issues of the people of all the regions of the State and steps are being taken to mitigate them in shortest possible time.
During the public redressal camps, Minister gave patient hearing to the issues raised by the people and passed necessary instructions to the concerned for their speedy disposal. The Minister asked the officers to work with missionary approach and zeal in implementation of all Central and State Sponsored Schemes.
He urged the officers to organize awareness camps of various Central and State Sponsored Welfare Schemes so that the actual aim of these schemes is fulfilled.
