JAMMU, Feb 22: Master Sansar Chand Baru Memorial Charitable Trust is representing Jammu and Kashmir in the ongoing 41st International Annual Khajuraho Dance Festival and Art Mart 2017, which will conclude on February 26.
Artists from 20 countries are participating in this unique event, besides the artist from all the States of India.
The event is being organized by Art and Culture and Tourism Ministries of Madhya Pradesh Government.
The every day events at this international festival are classical dances from India, Art Mart, Tribal Dances, Hunar Workshops, Kalawarta and Film Shows and Talks on Art History and Heritage. The guest country, which is participating this year, is Bangladesh.
From J&K, the artists namely Sushil Bhola, Reecha Gupta, Sukhjeet Singh, Risha Chibbh and Renu Bala are displaying their works and attending the event.
The other artists from the State whose paintings are displayed are Yousuf Baccha, Javid Iqbal, Bhushan Kesar, Rohit Verma, Sahil Ohri, Ankush Kesar, Rakesh Sharma, Jatinder Kaur, Chander Prakash, Sonu Aggarwal, Mohinika, Shivali Jamwal and Mahua Mahi.
President of the Master Sansar Chand Trust, Anuradha Rishi while speaking urged the organizers to conduct similar events in J&K.
