Martyred CRPF jawan given tearful adieu

RAJOURI,  Jan 1: The CRPF  jawan, Tufail Hussain  who attained martyrdom during Fidayeen attack in Pulwama on Sunday was given tearful adieu by the associates, relatives and villagers besides large number of people from the administration at his home village Dudasan near Rajouri this evening.

Official sources said that dead body of the CRPF personnel, Tufail Hussain, son of Muneer Hussain was brought from Pulwama  in a special police vehicle this afternoon. He was placed in CRPF Training Centre of 185 Battalion,  Letpora Pulwama. He along with four other CRPF personnel, attained martyrdom while fighting with the terrorists on Sunday at training centre.
Pall of gloom descended the village as mortal remains of the martyred jawan arrived wrapped in tri-colour in decorated police vehicle reached Dudasan in Thannamandi. A large number of relatives and villagers had  already gathered at his home village. Several senior police and civil officers including DIG CRPF, Nitu Bhardwaj and SSP Rajouri Yougal Manhas, SDM and SDPO Thannamandi laid wreath to pay their respect to the martyr.
Later, with full police honours, the mortal remains of the jawan were laid to rest. He is survived four children and wife besides others in the family. He had very cordial relations with people in his area and had earned good respect.  Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri Shahid Iqbal Choudhary who was out of town, along with some senior officers later visited house of the martyr this evening and expressed sympathy with the family.
