Martial Art Festival inaugurated at Islamia College

SRINAGAR, Feb 18: Martial Art Festival, organised by Renmei-Goju-Ryu-Karate-Do- Federation of India, was inaugurated by the Chief Commissioner J&K Scouts, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah Islamia College, here.
On this occasion, Mr Renzushah was honoured with a Black Belt for his outstanding contribution in the field of Scouting and Martial Art.
Iqbal Peerzada, head of Kashmir Chapter and Sanjeev Deevan, Chief Instructor at National Level were appreciated for presenting 50 fully trained Martial Art and Karate youth who have the distinction of presenting extraordinary show in the field of Martial Art.
While speaking on the occasion Khawaja Renzushah said that It is from era of Hazrat Bulbul shah RA & Hazrat Amir Kabir Syed Shah Hamdan (RA) that Martial art started from Kashmir and reached to Kashgar where from it has spread to Japan and Korea.
Renzushah said that Kashmir youth is passing through extreme crises and it is responsibility of all of us to provide them positive platform than to usher them towards suicidal paths for prolonging abnormal sway.
He advised jam-packed youth present on the occasion to be  symbols of love to make our civilization as proud figure at Global level.
