Martial Art competition concludes

SRINAGAR, July 31: In one of the most impressive and mega functions held in Khanyar Shaher-e-Khaas, thousands of youth and sports personalities participated in mega Martial Art competition organized by Academy of Martial Art in association with J&K Scouts and Guides Association, here.
The chief Commissioner J&K Scouts and Guides Association, Khwaja Farooq Renzushah was the chief guest.
The students of Higher Secondary School, Khanyar, Higher Secondary School, Marwah and Hazratbal excelled in the competition.
The Commanding Officer, Pandharinath, Allama Bashir Kashmiri prominent scholar and Tahira, Principal of Khanyar Higher Secondary School lauded the efforts of the students for their excellent performances.
Syed Shuja, chief organizer of the Martial Art Academy lavished praise on Mr Renzushah for his work in Scouting organization.
While complementing participants on the occasion, Mr Renzushah said that J&K Scouts and Guides is indigenous youth movement in the State since 1930, adding that Martial Art has its origin in J&K State and from the part via Silk Route it has reached to other parts of the world. He advised youth to adopt this sport with full dedication and devotion.
