JAMMU, June 29: Dr. D.K. Manyal, MLA, Samba paid visit to Greater Kailash Colony today to inaugurate the Lanes 27 to 32 falling in the area extended from Mandir to Govt. High School.
The “Residents Welfare Association” highlighted the problems being faced by the residents of the locality pertaining to acute shortage of electricity, Irregular water supply, dilapidated condition of lanes/drains. The MLA gave patient hearing to the problems of the residents and assured prompt and timely redressal of the demands.
On the demands of the residents to include the locality in Muncipal limits of Jammu, the MLA assured to meet this demand. The designated members of the Association namely Satpal Bharti, President, Prof. Ramesh Verma, vice- president, Dr. V.B. Sharma,general secretary and senior members S C Dutta, Smt. Pratibha Priyadarshni spoke on the occasion, highlighting the problems faced by the residents.
