KATHUA, Oct 31: Minister of State for Cooperatives, Stationary and Finance, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma inaugurated construction work on Garh Road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 20 lakh by PWD in Tehsil Hiranagar of District Kathua.
While speaking on the occasion, Dr Manohar announced Rs 3 lakh for various development works and Rs 75000 for electric poles in B-Panchayat of Dinga Amb.
Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, while interacting with deputation at Dinga Amb, assured of every possible help to mitigate their grievances.
A deputation from Dhod village of Mangloor Panchayat demanded temporary restoration of 500 meters road which was badly affected during rainy season. They also appealed the Minister to direct the PWD authorities to install crates alongside the causeway to avoid further erosion of land.
Another deputation from Mangloor met the Minister and demanded hand pump at SC Mohalla.
