Manohar conducts public darbar at Dhralta

KATHUA, Jan 25: With a view to mitigate the people’s problems and developmental needs at their areas, Minister of State for Fisheries, Cooperatives, Finance and Planning, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today convened a public darbar at Dhralta, Billawar.
Deputations one by one put forth their demands and developmental needs to the Minister related to the upgradation and improvement provisions of road connectivity, safe drinking water and uninterrupted power supply to their respective villages.
Other demands highlighted by the inhabitants include upgradation of Middle School Dhralta to High School, hand-pumps, early completion of Upper Dhar to Dhralta road, upgradation of 63 kva transformer to 100 kva, playground and dispensary of Animal Husbandry.
The Minister assured the locals that are their genuine demands and developmental needs would be redressed through concerned departments on priority.
The Minister announced upgradration of Middle School Dhralta to the level of High School under RMSA. He said an amount of Rs. 39 lakh would be expended for construction of additional blocks of already upgraded five schools in the area and construction work of these would be completed within 18 months period.
