JAMMU, Aug 28:  Disseminating the ideology of Panthers Party, Balwant Singh Mankotia, State president JKNPP, addressed a public meeting at Vijaypur, which was organized by Rajesh Padgotra, provincial president JKNPP here today.
Mr Mankotia made a fervent appeal to the people to support and strengthen Panthers Party as it was the lone voice of Jammu Pradesh which had been fighting for the cause of Dogras right from the streets to the Supreme Court.
Reacting strongly over the present Kashmir turmoil, Mr Mankotia said that BJP-PDP Government had miserably failed to control the situation in Valley. He said that the open leverage given to the separatists earlier by the unholy alliance had emboldened the anti-national elements which led to the unrest in Kashmir.
Mr Mankotia alleged that the BJP had meekly surrendered and sold out the interests of the people of Jammu Pradesh to PDP for the lust of power. “The unholy BJP-PDP alliance is nothing but a marriage of convenience which has become a security risk and it must go to save the State from further death and destruction,” he added.
“BJP always exploited the sentiments of people of the country and Jammu Pradesh in particular by persistently claiming to hoist the Tricolour in Lal Chowk Srinagar but after coming to power at the centre and in the State, the Saffron party even could not hold Tiranga rallies in their own Assembly constituencies of Jammu province including Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban and Poonch,” he said.
Rajesh Padgotra, while addressing, asserted that “Reorganization” of the State was the only way out from this turmoil and the formation of the Jammu Pahari State, Kashmir valley state and Ladakh State was the only solution by which the people of all the three regions could be liberated from the clutches of the authoritarian rulers in order to live with respect, dignity and honour.
Sarpanch Khajoor Singh and Jagdish Raj also addressed the gathering.
