SRINAGAR, May 16: President, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (Chief Minister) today accorded approval to nomination of Zafar Iqbal Manhas, Member, J&K Legislative Council as the Vice President of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages.
This was disclosed by Secretary, JKAACL, Dr. Aziz Hajini, who stated that nomination of the former Secretary has been made by the President Academy in pursuance of decision of Academy’s General Council taken by it in its meeting held on December 17, 2016.
Pertinently, the General Council of the JKAACL after thorough deliberations and with a unanimous decision had authorized the President JKAACL (CM) to nominate any member of the Council as the Vice President of the Academy.
