JAMMU, Feb 5: Management Committee meeting of Dogra College of Education and Dogra Degree College was conducted in the Dogra Educational Complex to take stock of developmental and innovative projects initiated in the academic session. The meeting was presided over by Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and Chairman of Dogra Educational Trust and attended by Prof. Kulwant Singh, Department of Law, University of Jammu, Dr JK Sharma, Director College Development Council, Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Special Secretary to Vice Chancellor University of Jammu, DK Singh, Advocate, Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust, SC Khajuria, Director Administration & Campus Development, Bela Thakur, Director Academics and the Principal’s of the Colleges namely Shefali Sharma and Poonam Gupta.
Since B.A and B. Com courses had been introduced in Dogra Degree College from this session, offering large array of subjects for the students to make choices, the achievements in various inter-collegiate competition & events of the University of Jammu were highlighted.
Excellent Academic results of BBA course in the University Examination held in Oct-Nov 2016 were highly appreciated.
The staff of the Dogra Degree College & Dogra College of Education, who had undergone various programmes to hone their professional skills, were explained by the respective Principals.
The Newsletter of the Dogra College of Education was also released by the members of the management committee in this meeting. The members appreciated the efforts of the Principal and the staff of the Dogra College of Education for publishing Newsletter of the College.
