Man survives militant firing

SRINAGAR, Mar 6: Militants fired at a man in South Kashmir’s district of Shopian today. However, he escaped unhurt.
The incident took place at village Wandna Melehore of the district when an assailant fired at 25-year-old Arshid Hussain Dar, son of Abdul Rashid Dar of the same village three times with a pistol.
A police party headed  by  the SHO  was rushed to the spot and the manhunt was launched. However, the identity of the militant who fired at Dar and reason behind the firing is not known.
