Man nabbed for selling liquor

JAMMU, Feb 24: Keeping check over the sale of liquor on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, Miran Sahib arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Miran Sahib police station conducted raid in village Rattian and arrested a person, who was selling illicit liquor pouches among the people on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.
Police team arrested the person and recovered 55 illicit liquor pouches from his possession. The accused has been identified as Chander Bhushan, son of Ram Lal, a resident of village Rattian.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered against the accused at Miran Sahib police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Pawan Kumar and assisted by Incharge BPP Kullian ASI Jugal Kishore made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu Romesh Kotwal.
