JAMMU, Sept 4: A 42-year-old man tonight allegedly made an abortive attempt on his life by cutting his left wrist at his residence in Narwal area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the man has been identified as Yashpal Singh son of Dharam Pal of Narwal. “The reason behind this extreme step taken by the man could not be ascertained immediately”, he said adding the blood ridden man was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
