Srinagar, Jan 3: Police today said a man was killed while another was injured in two separate road accidents in Central Kashmir.
A police spokesman said a vehicle bearing registration number JK01N-7642 hit a pedestrian identified as Mohammad Hafiz Bhat on Maulana Azad road near petrol pump here in city centre. “The injured was shifted to SMHS where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a Wagon-R car bearing registration number JK01H-3216 collided with a motorcycle bearing registration number Jk01V-9979 at Sheikhpora in Budgam district, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist identified as Abdul Rashid Wagay. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
