DODA, Mar 5: Khellani police arrested a man and recovered large number of illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from police post Khellani led by PSI Sandeep Chauhan and assisted by Constable Mohammad Shafi and Follower Mohammad Ashrif apprehended a man along with 41 illicit liquor pouches near GREF camp Khellani.
The accused has been identified as Parvinder Singh, son of Amar Chand, a resident of Hud Battru, District Doda.
In this regard, a case under FIR Number 36/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Doda and investigation started.
