Man held with bovines

JAMMU, Sept 16: Jhajjar Kotli police arrested a man along with stolen bovine animals from Surinsar area.
As per police sources, Krishan Chand, a resident of Surinsar lodged a complaint with Jhajjar Kotli Police Station regarding theft of his three bovine animals.
According a case under FIR number 117/14 under Section 379 RPC was registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
The police team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station along with some locals raised a naka at Surinsar and intercepted a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK02W-8589.
During checking, police recovered stolen bovine animals and arrested a person, who has been identified as Saddam Hussain, son of Alam Din of Ragoora. His three associates managed to escape from the spot, while police has launched manhunt to nab them.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Police Station Inspector Ravinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Khalik Choudhary.
