Man flees with bike on pretext of test drive

JAMMU, Nov 11: An unknown man fled with a bike on the pretext of test drive in Bishnah area of city outskirts.
“A man identified as Kapil Sharma son of Girdhari Lal, resident of Bhatyari (Bishnah) today submitted a written complaint at police station Bishnah stating that he had put an advertisement on OLX for sale of his bullet bearing registration number JK02BW-2640 and accordingly an unknown man contacted him on phone for purchasing the bike”, a police official said.
The official said the complainant further stated in his complaint that on November 7 the unknown man met with him at village Kanhal in Bishnah area to see the physical condition of the bike and then on the pretext of taking a test drive, he fled with the vehicle.
He said that a case FIR No 244/2017 has been registered in this connection at police station Bishnah and investigations started.
