RAJOURI, Jan 27: A middle aged man allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence at village Dangri in district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that 40-year-old Surinder Pal, son of Mohinder Singh, resident of Dangri consumed some insecticides liquid at his residence during last night. He was found lying dead in his bed in the morning.
The family brought his body to District Hospital, Rajouri where doctors declared him as brought dead. The police was also informed. After postmortem, the body was handed over to the family by police. The police has started investigation into the matter.
