KATRA, Feb 18: A young man from Uttar Pradesh, who was found lying unconscious under mysterious circumstances near Trikuta Bhawan, Katra, last night, died at Narayana Hospital today.
The deceased was identified as Rajiv Kumar Gupta (40), son of Satya Parkash Gupta of Shahjannpur (UP). He was spotted lying unconscious and shifted to CHC Katra from where he was further referred to Narayana Hospital where he died today.
Since death of the deceased has occurred under suspicious circumstances, Police has initiated inquest proceeding under section 174 CrPC. A case has been registered in this regard at Police Station Katra besides informing legal heirs of the deceased.
