JAMMU, Jan 5 : A man died today due to fall from a hillock in Akhnoor area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the man identified as Yashpal (60) son of Gushan Ram, resident of Jakhari Targwal in Akhnoor tehsil, died this evening after his feet got slipped and he fell from a hillock and landed in a 200 feet deep Godhan nullah. He said that the mishap occurred when the deceased was on his way from Godhan village to Fhagalla village.
“The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of Sub District Hospital, Akhnoor for post mortem while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter”, he added.
