JAMMU, Sept 27: A man, who had allegedly consumed some poisonous substance some days back, today died here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
According to a police spokesman, the man identified as Darshan Lal (36) son of Girdhari Lal, resident of Chakroi (RS Pura) was admitted here at GMCH on September 23 after he had allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
“However, the man expired today at 4.30 am”, the spokesman said, adding after completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
