JAMMU, Jan 2: A man, who yesterday attempted suicide at Subhash Nagar, expired today here at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
According to a police spokesman, the man identified as Sandeep Kumar, 45, son of Prem Chand, resident of Subash Nagar was admitted in GMCH Jammu yesterday after he consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
However, he expired today at about 3.pm. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Police has initiated inquest proceedings in the case.
