UDHAMPUR, June 16: A middle aged man died today after consuming poison at his residence in Krimchi area of Mansar.
According to the police report, a man identified as Vipan Kumar (34) son of Satvir Kumar of Krimchi (Mansar) allegedly consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at his home late this evening.
He said family members took him to District Hospital Udhampur, where he died during treatment. “Body of the deceased man has been sent to mortuary room of the hospital for postmortem”, he said, adding, Udhampur police has taken cognizance of the matter.
