JAMMU, Oct 1: A man who had consumed some poisonous substance, today died here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, the man identified as Ashok Kumar (60) son of Balmkund, resident of Balshama (Dharamsal, Rajouri), was shifted here at GMCH on September 29 in serious condition after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
However, the man expired today at about 7 am. His dead body was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for postmortem, while Dharamshal police had taken cognizance of the matter.
