Man attacked with sharp edged weapon

JAMMU, Feb 2: A man was attacked with a sharp edged weapon by some miscreants in Kanachak area of city outskirts.
“After taking dinner at his parental house last night, the man identified as Narinder Sharma son of Som Nath, resident of Kanachak, along with his wife and children were on way to his house, which was just few metres away, when some miscreants, which were allegedly in inebriated condition, thrashed him and attacked with a sharp edged weapon”, a police official said.
In the attack, Narinder sustained injuries on his head and was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. The Kanachak police had registered a case FIR No 12/2018 in this connection and efforts were on to nab the accused, two of which had been identified as Aman son of Bhajan Singh, resident of Kanachak and Vishu son of Vijay Kumar, resident of Galwadechak.
